Stuck

Well I guess this trip could haven gotten off to a slightly better start than spending 9 hours in Chicago airport...but I refuse to complain too much because ultimately I am still heading to Europe with my best friend, I could be in a much worse predicament. Fortunately trials like this tend to bring people together so I have met a college girl studying abroad in France, a nice lebonese man, a sweet old lady, someone from Iowa, and the cutest little kid in the world. It's nice to think that no matter what our backgrounds we all can be thrown in the same boat so easily...it's been a long day but I think we are going to ride it out just fine although we may reach Germany a little later than planned.
