Still Stuck

So we are still enjoying the wonderful place that is Chicago airport...unfortunately even the cool, artistic tunnel that you take to get from terminal B to terminal C gets old after the fifth or sixth time. After a second time boarding the airplane last night at ten we were informed that "the pilot had decided not to take this flight" because he had been up for too long and there seemed to be no other pilots hanging around at eleven thirty at night...so we de-boarded again; definitely the low point so far. The idea of a nice warm hotel bed kept us going for the two hour wait to get our hotel and meal vouchers. Really the whole thing is a blur now but I can happily say that we did get a full night's rest and are now back in the airport munching on some late breakfast...it's amazing what you cam get from Starbucks with a $15 meal voucher. We are very hopeful that the airplane will actually leave the ground this evening and maybe we can squeeze in some London exploring before getting on a flight to Frankfurt Sunday morning. Meanwhile we will just chill, eat our free food, and chat to our new sleepy and disgruntled friends.
Hanging in there!
